Wooden upwards extension in Bolzano

Upwards extension - fast and turnkey

In a beautiful location in the idyllic Val di Vizze in the Province of Bolzano, the Hofer family runs the Unterbergerhof, one of the oldest and most traditional mountain farms in the Upper Eisack Valley. In 2020, the Unterbergerhof annex was renovated and extended. Thanks to careful planning, the prefabrication of the walls and the careful co-ordination of all the companies involved, the first guests were able to return to their rooms only three and a half months after work began.

It was particularly important for the clients to keep the construction phase as short as possible. They therefore commissioned LignoAlp to carry out all the work on a turnkey basis. From April to mid-July, the top floor was completely demolished and rebuilt with prefabricated wooden walls. In addition, the installations were renewed, all windows were replaced and the façade of the existing storeys was renovated and visually adapted to the extension by adding wooden elements.
