Prestigious: Located amidst the morainic hills of Franciacorta, in the municipality of Erbusco, Ca' del Bosco is one of the most important wine cellars in a region internationally famous for the production of the wine of the same name. LignoAlp realised the new reception structure, which is characterised by its symbolic circular shape.
The winery is known for the indissoluble link between wine and art, and for a product of absolute quality. The winery, in its architecture, is to be considered the most harmonious result of this inescapable vocation. Inspired by this focus on iconic, high quality architecture, the design of the new accommodation is characterised by its symbolic circular, ring shape: built on the site of a car park of the same geometry, it has an oak tree at its centre. This is an explicit metaphor highlighting the very intention of the project, i.e. respect for the nature of the site and the centrality of the latter in the new building.
