The best of both worlds: Hybrid-timber buildings

LignoAlp bring nature and progress together

For many years now, LignoAlp has specialised in contemporary design and architecture. The combination of wood and concrete-steel enables the construction of large residential complexes, multi-storey car parks, and high-rise timber buildings.

There is no single construction plan for hybrid wood buildings. One thing, however, is certain: Hybrid-timber buildings are an optimal combination of all of the strengths of concrete, steel and wood. The outer walls are often built in wood, reinforced concrete is often applied as a load-bearing skeleton structure and is used for foundations, stairwells, lift shafts and concrete ceilings.
