LignoAlp develops. LignoAlp combines experience with contemporary requirements, and knowledge with technology. LignoAlp is synonymous with individuality, diversity, and, ever and always, a view to the future.

The Damiani family from Brixen has been working in the timber sector for three generations. At the beginning of the 1980s Markus Damiani, grandson of the company founder, took over management of the company and prompted the development from a timber trading organisation to a contemporary timber construction company. Markus Damiani has a passion for art and top-quality architecture. Within the company, he is primarily responsible for trading, sales and administration.

In 1994 Walter Capovilla founded a carpentry company which, in 2003, merged with holz&ko GmbH from Deutschnofen, a pioneering South Tyrolean company in the timber construction sector. Walter Capovilla took over management of the merger company which, in turn, joined forces with Damiani Holzindustrie AG in 2010 to become the company that is Damiani-Holz&KO AG today. Walter Capovilla is primarily responsible for the technical side of the company.
