Unique: Experience nature with all your senses: That is the goal of the new visitor centre "Haus der Berge" in the National Park in Berchtesgaden.
The visitor centre offers a unique interplay of architecture, exhibition and surrounding landscape. From the outside, the straight-lined, modern timber-frame building is striking. Inside, visitors are given a vivid and informative introduction to the various habitats in the National Park in a three-dimensional walk-through landscape panorama made of cross-laminated timber (CLT).
